Who are Medicine4me?
We are a community pharmacy based at 39/41 Spa Road, Hockley, Essex. SS5 4AZ. We have been trading since 1985. Currently we operate through two retail outlets and one internet online pharmacy called Medicine4me.
Are you a member of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain?
We are registered member of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain registration number 1031199. Our superintendent pharmacist is Mr Priyesh Desai.
Is it safe to use my credit card on your web site?
All transaction information passed between merchant sites and the Protx VSP Systems is encrypted using 128-bit SSL certificates. No cardholder information is ever passed unencrypted and any messages sent to your servers from Protx are signed using MD5 hashing to prevent tampering. You can be completely secure in the knowledge that nothing you pass to the Protx servers can be examined, used or modified by any third parties attempting to gain access to sensitive information.
How do I order goods from your web site?
You will need to register yourself with us before you are able to order items from us. Once you have done this you will have access to the part of the site which allows you to add items to your shopping cart. Once you have completed your order go to the check out for payment by either credit or debit card.
Can I change my order once it has been placed?
You may be able to do this if your order has not already been dispatched. Please call us on 0800 634 9892.
When will I receive my goods?
All orders received by 12:00pm are dispatched on the same day. In the unlikely event of us not having the item concerned in stock then we will endeavor to post item the following day. We use Royal Mail first class signed for service unless specified differently by you. This service aims to deliver goods to you by next working day.
Where is my order delivered?
We deliver it to the address stated by you at the time of you registering with us or if you state that you wish to receive the order at another address at the time of placing your order.
What if I am not in when the goods are delivered?
When a delivery attempt is made and you are not there to sign for the delivery, Royal Mail will leave a delivery attempt card informing you that an attempt was made and direct you to pick up the parcel from your local sorting office. We will charge for delivery again if the goods were returned to us as undelivered and another attempt has to be made.
What if I receive my goods damaged?
We pack our orders securely to enable it to withstand delivery handling. Should you receive goods that are damaged due to poor handling by the posting authority, please call us on 0800 634 9892 to arrange for replacement goods. We will ask you to return the damaged goods to us at our expense by a pre agreed Royal Mail (for inland) or equivalent overseas service.
What if I change my mind?
You may return the goods to us to obtain a full refund for the goods by firstly, calling us on 0800 634 9892 and obtaining a return authorization code from us within 30 days of receiving your order. You have to return the goods to us in its original packaging at your own cost.
What are your delivery charges?
All items are sent via Royal Mail First Class delivery. You have the option of receiving the goods by either First Class Signed For or Special Delivery services operated by the Royal Mail. This option will be given to you during check out process. Special Delivery will cost an extra £3.30. International deliveries are sent via Royal Mail airmail service. The cost of this service is based on weight of your parcel. This service has size and weight restrictions imposed on international parcels. If your order falls outside these restrictions we will offer you alternative couriers at prices to be agreed between us. International parcels also take longer to arrive due to customs and local delivery services. You have the option of receiving the goods by International Signed For service offered by Royal Mail. This service will cost an extra £3.50
How can I check the progress of my order?
